McFarland Pride Flag Raising 2026

Pride Month is celebrated across the United States throughout the month of June. The purpose of the commemorative month is to recognize the impact that LGBTQIA+ individuals have had on history locally, nationally, and internationally. At their meeting on Tuesday, May 26, the McFarland Village Board issued a proclamation designating June 2026 as Pride Month. At the same meeting, the board approved a request to raise and fly the Pride flag at the McFarland Municipal Center during the month of June in observance of LGBTQIA+ Pride Month. The flag was raised during a ceremony on Wednesday, June 3, at the Municipal Center. 2026 marks the fourth annual raising of the Pride flag at the Village’s central administrative building.
